I monogrammed matching family team T-shirts by colors

The only one that is missing is my mom. She had on Team Ishimoto 84 and her color was a forest green.

Bowling Challenge

We decided one night to go bowling. It was a lot of fun. 10 of us bowled one and a half games. I couldn't believe my first frame I got a spare...and of course it was down hill from there. But at least I made over 100 pins drop the first game.

The Butt Dance

WE went to get a Christmas Tree for our Turkeymas celebration. While we were hunting for a tree, Jonathan started the butt dance and they all joined in.

Great...yes...these are my children....never a dull moment!

Joe and Vwe visit CA for Thanksgiving too.

It was fun having Joe and Vwe visit as well. They came down with Diana and Jeff. They stayed at Ernie and Liz's house for the duration of the trip. They came over a couple of nights to play board and card games with our older kids.

Michael Ridge's Big Smiley Face

The picture below didn't show Michael's cute smile like this picture.

Grandma Grace, Michael and Steven

Fun times with the grand babies. Michael turned 6 months December 1st. He still so tiny and has the biggest grin.

Grandpa and Grandma Horse for grandkids to play on at our home.

We decided to get this horsey as a grandpa/grandma toy for when the grandkids come to play at our house. It was fun for James and Michael. lol

More fun pictures of the family together at PF Chang's for lunch

We played this Ball Game...it was fun

Turkeymas...we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas together with all the kids.

We joined Liz, Ernie, Bill, Ahnle, Mary, Sarah & Nate, and others at Irvine Regional Park for Turkey lunch!

Jeff & Mot were there to support us.

It was fun having our
personal tour guide, Jeff, John's brother. In these pictures he is in a wheel chair...he had his leg amputated several weeks prior. He now has a prosthetic and is doing his best to learn how to use it.

"WICKED" Adventure

I know I have been bad...it has taken me a while to post these pictures. But here are a few that we took. WE had the best time of our lives!!!! Thanks to soooo many people. It was the best trip ever! We even got to go to the Manhattan Temple and to church.

The following pages contain our OR WA trip August 27-September 1, 2009

Japanese Gardens August 28th

One of the first things we did was go to this beautiful Japanese Garden. My mom didn't want to go anywhere. Her feet were soooo tired. So we sat down while, tour guide Paul took everyone else around. It started to rain. My mom wanted to go find a bedroom. Poor thing was always looking for a place to lay her head.

Home cooked meals...

Every night a different family was assigned to cook the dinner meal. That was soooo smart on Paul and Jennie's part. Good organization. Paul and Jennie did shredded pork and baked beans..Kristina and Jonathan did Chinese Hay Stack.. John, Baba, and I did Shrimp and broccoli, and Diana and Jeff did tacos and quesadillas...all the food we had was outstanding. I gained weight! So when I went to the doctors that darn scale lied again!

August 28th Portland Temple

We like to try to go the temple together. That was soooo nice. This is a beautiful temple inside. Even my mom went through a session. She has not wanted to go with me for a while. So this was great for me.

August 29th Multnomah Falls

On Saturday we hiked up the Multnomah Falls. You can see the from the bottom to the top. It was only a 1.25 mile hike up with 11 switch backs...really it was 22 going back and forth...they counted both up and around as one switch back, My mom could only go as far as 1/2 mile up. I was impressed that she got that far. It was pretty tiring. Of course she complained the whole way up. But I persuaded her to walk up one more hill and sit down on the bench and look at the beauty around us. While I sat there John continued up and met the rest of the gang on the top. As you can see you can look down the falls as well. Over all it was a very fun day as a family. It all reminded me of Tantalus (sp) in Hawaii. Lots of trees and clean air. It was really beautiful.

The pose....

Boys will be boys for attention...

Yea Kristina...keep your eye on the ball.

We couldn't have a real vacation without playing ball on the itinerary now could we! Paul pitched to us all. And then Jonathan pitched to Paul. Even little James got into it! Fun stuff! Hit the ball James! Way to go!

Baba and Grace new hired cow girls.

I couldn't believe we got my mom to get behind the cow face. She tried to reach in the taller one but couldn't get her face high enough. Too funny...Well...see the other cow ranchers below!

Jeff and Diana Farm Ranchers

The new hired hand...Diana and Jeff

Paul, Jennie, & James Cow Ranchers

Here is a picture of the newly hired cow ranchers for Tillomook Cheese Factory! Just kidding...fun stuff

Yah...we are the champions

Before going to the Angel game the kids decided they wanted to go swimming in the hotel pool. Poor Jeff skinned his nose and John sprained his right thumb and middle finger. Boys will be boys!

Fish...anyone Fresh Fish

We walked through Pike's Market and watched the fish fly by. Hardly anyone buys the fish, they just want to watch the show. Finally one of the workers said, "Anyone here to buy fish?!" Sad...I know.

Cannon Beach

We went to cold Cannon Beach where the movie "Goonies" was made. I think that's right? If I'm wrong..oh well...

Run..run

So let's play touch the dome game!

Game of water fun

This Park had this water dome ... you run up to it and touch it or get wet. The object of course is not to get wet.

The Jonathan Kristina look

Whenever we take pictures Jonathan's Whatcott side of the family comes out..crazy faces

Go Jonathan Go

See all three of the riders do their riding...lol

"Let's play ball!"

Here is James in his new outfit!

Well...we did get a picture of James...where is mom and dad?

The Ridge Family in Angel Attire

I missed taking a picture of Paul, Jennie and James in their Angel gear. Glad I was at least able to get one of Jonathan, Kristina and Michael.

August 31st Angels vs Mariners

One of the main events was going to see the Angels play against the Mariners...we can't go family traveling without doing that! Luckily we won 10-0, but we lost the next two games. Glad we were at the one we won!
