Party, Party...Party...12 session on the way

So here I am in my chair with my polka dotted party hat, red Angel pom pom and a blue and white BYU pom pom and my horn in my mouth...and if you look really closely I have on a tuberoise lei!!!

So are we in the party mood!!!

My mom came with me and she made herself at home. Look at her feet up on my chair. She did very well at the clinic. She ate her snacks and lunch and couldn't remember she ate anything. She is the bottomless pit. She had a whole bag of apple slices, a tuna sandwich, and a peach fruit cup. And she could have eaten more. She started to eat my lunch as well.

Happy Birthday Nurse Donna!

I had Donna put on my party hat since it was her birthday. So from left to right...my mom, me, nurse Kathy, nurse Donna, and doc Jim. They have been with me the whole 7 months.

So this was my 12 session. I have the chemo pack on. You can't see it, but it's in my right hand pocket. I'll take it off on Thursday.

Mom gets a perm! What a process that was.

Layla Ikahihifo gives my a shampoo and perm.
Mom was so tired from waiting that she fell asleep at the chair.

Mom's new dress and hair cut...

Happy 84th Birthday mom! I cut my hair too! I don't have as much hair falling out anymore as I shower. I usually have a hand full of hair every time I wash my hair. Not so much since I cut my hair to my shoulders

Cabinet above the toilet

Well... this is the cabinet above the toilet that holds all the toilet paper in the world.

You can see the towels I monogrammed that was in the other bathroom. Soon to move out as soon as the other bathroom is finished being remodeled.

If you wondering why we are doing both bathrooms it's because the wood was so rotten the shower would have fallen through to the ground. The outside walls in the entry way had bubbles cracking through and we could see the wood rot from the shower when the door got knocked off by the Kimbrell boys last year. So it has been long in waiting. The floor was so bad underneath the shower that part of it had already fallen to the ground. The walls on the sides were also so rotten due to leakage that it had to be replaced as well. So soon we will have two new bathrooms. This house was built in the 50's so it's over 50 years old. And due for a face lift.

More pictures of the completed bathroom

Too funny, you can see me in the mirror. Well that's the best I could do with taking this picture. They will have to put more mirrors around the mirror box. John and Steven are taller than the box so by design John asked them to put additional mirrors going out above and on the sides of the box. They haven't done that yet as you can see.

The wall and soap opening

The tile looks better in person. But it is really nice. The tub below has heated jets. So that's why this is John's bathroom.
