Steven's Basketball Award Night 3/18/09

Steven received the scholar athlete award for the Freshman class...he got the highest GPA for all the grade levels. So he got a plaque and he got a certificate. He also got another trophy for Mr. Hustle. The coach was so nice to compliment him that he had the most potential to go the farthest because he had all heart. He does everything the coach says to do....No talking back...just very obedient. They were really nice comments.

Family gathering in Provo February 28th

Fun times! After Kristina's surprise baby shower we got together for dinner at Jennie's sister's, Paula and Brian's apartment (which use to be Paul and Jennie's apartment in Provo).

We had a great time. Gramma Grace with all her children...well....missing Stephanie and Steven and dad. But I can't deny that I had a great time seeing all of them together.

Paul was out recruiting at BYU for his company.

She was shocked to see her mom, me, there. She had talked to me the night before and the morning of the party. So to see me there in Provo was a BIG surprise.

It was fun. Glad we could keep a secret.

Surprise Baby Shower at the Andrew's

We had plenty of food and people at Kristina's surprise baby shower. Her old roommates and their spouses were there. That was fun for her to see her good friends.

Gramma Peggy and Aunty Janet were there as well. Oh and cousin Stacey Bayles Clark and her three kids.

Baby Cake!

Diana made this bear cake for the surprise shower. I thought it came out really cute. But she thinks the eyes look EVIL....lol

We had enough cake for all!

Hot Air Balloon February 28th

What a surprise it was to walk out of Diana's apartment to see this Hot Air Balloon in the middle of the street.

We don't know why it was parked there.

We didn't have time to wait for it to go up. We had to leave to get things for the surprise baby shower for Kristina.

The Before Picture of the Bathroom

Here is a picture of what our bathroom looked like. When it's done, of course we will post the new pictures. Below you can see they gutted the whole bathroom out.

I can't wait until it's all done.

Coat Closet removed to make the bathroom bigger

Stephanie's dancing pole....just kidding. We took out the hallway closet where our coats used to be to extend the bathroom a bit. The tub that was there was not functioning so we are happy to get rid of it and put a new one in. We are going to call this our Angel Baseball bathroom. John picked out some Angel Baseball tile as a border. So needless to say this is going to be John's bathroom.
